1. The production process is different between them. We have introduced that the production of double-wall corrugated pipes adopts the extrusion process, so the utilization rate of the material is relatively high. However, for large-diameter double-wall corrugated pipes, the cost will be relatively high, so the diameter of double-wall corrugated steel pipes is rarely relatively large now, while the production of carat pipes adopts the whole process of computer-controlled hot winding and natural air cooling process, so carat pipes can produce pipes with a diameter of DN4000mm, and also adopts a spiral rib structure, so that the pressure bearing capacity of the pipeline is strong.

2. The raw materials used to produce double-wall corrugated pipes and carat pipes are different. Double-wall corrugated pipes are usually made of recycled materials, accounting for 70% of the total material, while carat pipes are made of new materials, which ensure flexibility and fusion performance. Therefore, carat pipes are more expensive and heavier than double-wall corrugated pipes, generally more than 60%.

3. The connection methods of the two are different. We have introduced more about the double-wall corrugated pipe. The socket connection is approved, and the construction is simple and fast. The carat pipe is welded together through the socket and electric welding, so that the two pipes can be fused into one. The construction is more difficult, but the sealing after the connection is strong, just like the pipeline. The appearance of the bellows and the double-wall corrugated pipe is similar, but its performance and structure are relatively different. Therefore, the choice should be determined according to the needs of the project and only meet the needs of the project.
